Emergency doctor Dale Whyte is pulled from London into Gorstan, a world divided by old grievances and approaching darkness. Elsewhere, Captain Cora Tunstall is drawn into the same conflict. Separated by a hostile world and a painful shared history, they must discover who is manipulating Gorstan before its war reaches Earth.
Dale’s memories of Gorstan return just as portals begin appearing across Earth. Cora joins a secret government response while unseen forces work to ensure Dale never remembers what happened. Their search leads beyond either world and into the structure upon which reality itself depends.
Earth, Gorstan and the wider multiverse survived collision, but survival has created new forms of control. As the Fae Courts offer protection and stability, Dale and Ayla must decide whether a system can be repaired without its rescuers becoming its rulers.

Gorstan is a companion experience set in the same multiverse. It shares characters, places and ideas with the novels, but does not retell the trilogy.
The game introduces later concepts and is best experienced after Quantum Lattice.

About the author
Geoff Webster is a strategist, reformer and storyteller whose work spans public-service transformation, international delivery and imagined worlds that are usually rather less orderly than the programmes he has led.
His career has included cross-government programmes involving British ports, the Cabinet Office Futures function and Cabinet Office End User services. In the private sector, he contributed to the integration of Coutts into the Royal Bank of Scotland and to Boots’ sale of its international healthcare division to Reckitt Benckiser.
Internationally, his work has included leadership development in Kuwait, banking reform in Bahrain and teaching at the American University of Kuwait. He is the author of The Gorstan Chronicles, the Inspector Bowley historical mysteries and the Milly and Rosie series of children’s books.
